Miriam has had a crush on a gentleman most of her life. When he finally asks to see her, she thinks it is to court her. Turns out he just wanted her to introduce him to her friend Mary. Mary has no interest in men and is afraid of them due to an abusive prior relationship.
Miriam is asked to help teach Junior's sister to read. When he begins to see her interactions with others, and also spends a bit more time with Mary, he starts to realize maybe Miriam is a bit more suited to him than Mary. But will he act before it is too late.
