The Orange Shoes by Trinka Hakes NobleMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
Very wordy but good. A story about a girl who had no shoes. Another girl makes fun of her. Then they have a show box special to raise money for art supplies. The girl with no shoes is worried but her dad buys her new shoes. Then her friends, so called, stomp on them and ruin them. The girl works on them, painting them so they are even prettier than they began. She raises the most money of the group. And now all the kids have art supplies because of her and her dad.
