The Legend of the Candy Cane by Lori WalburgMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
Man sets up shop in a small town. It's a candy shop. Little girl helps him set up, sees all the candy. She has never seen a candy cane. He tells her the story behind it--J for Jesus, looks like a shepherd's staff, red and white stripes to represent the stripes where Jesus was whipped for our sins, his blood shed to wash us white as snow. The man and the girl go around to all the people in the town and the area to share the legend.
