Murder in the Bayou Boneyard by Ellen Byron
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This was a fun read in prep for Halloween spooky season. The characters were fun and believable.
A visit from distant relatives turns into a clash for property and murders.
Maggie set up a spectacular Halloween special between B&Bs in the town to bring in more tourists, but now the murders and the sudden appearance of rougarous (fabled werewolves of the south) are causing people to cancel their reservations.
Maggie is accused of the murders but with the help of her fiance and the local police who like her and her family, the truth will out. A fun read for this time of year.
