The 13th Gift: A True Story of a Christmas Miracle by Joanne Huist Smith
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This was a lovely tale of a grieving family finding their way through their grief of losing a father and husband. When random gifts begin arriving at their door, at first they are angry or want them to stop, afraid to open their broken hearts. But they begin to heal and start feeling the joy of Christmas growing inside. I can't imagine losing a loved one and having to face that first Christmas without them. Christmas is a time of miracles. And as it is a true story, it makes it even more meaningful.
