Review: Blood Water Paint

Blood Water Paint Blood Water Paint by Joy McCullough
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

An interesting tale about a young girl whose mother passes away. She is left to fend for herself and be raised by an artist in the time when girls were considered worthless. In spite of her amazing artistic ability, she still finds the roads blocked on every side. When the worst happens, she decides to fight the system in spite of the possible consequences. She wins in the end, but at what cost?
