Dogs and Blogs
Trying to get myself on a better schedule. They say if you don’t schedule it, it won’t happen. I think they have a point there. That is probably why I haven’t scheduled my workouts…because then I’d have to actually do them.
One of the new(er) things in my life is Wednesday nights dog training with Barnabas. He is signed up for three sets of training. (six weeks, six weeks, and four weeks). We have now completed the first set of six weeks. Last week we started the second set. I’ve been under the weather with a severe case of bronchitis. Lucky for me, we have a great dog trainer on the side, and she agreed to take Barnabas to his training so we didn’t fall behind.

I was thinking, once Barnabas finishes his training, we will be able to go to nursing homes and hospitals and such for touch therapy. And what better way to do it than to schedule it fairly regularly, such as on Wednesday nights like we are already doing, sort of an extension of his current schedule.
I don’t know if this will work out or not, it was sort of an idea flitting about. Being sick at home for nine days straight has given me nothing but time to think, though maybe not so clearly. I don’t have a lot of energy to do much else. At any rate, if it works out, I’m hoping to be able to take Barnabas to visit some people once he’s allowed, and then possibly, if I can get moving on it, I’ll write about his experience and share pictures if I’m allowed. But time will tell on that.
Stay tuned for hopefully some wonderful future bloggings of Barnabas’s adventures in spreading love and joy to the world that needs it so desperately. Until then, pray that we get through these training sessions.
