You Think It, I'll Say It by Curtis Sittenfeld
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Not a favorite. It was a collection of short stories. As a short story writer myself, I was interested to see what the author did, how they wrote, their techniques, etc. A couple of the stories were interesting, but overall I remain unimpressed. I'm sure Sittenfeld is a great author and probably many people enjoy her writing. I just apparently am not one of those people. She did well with tension in the stories. That is one aspect I need to improve in my own writing. I just did not relate to many of the characters, though they were described well enough, I could visualize them (another aim for authors).
