Hello friends, family, and future friends. This is my first attempt at a blog, so please
be patient as I learn the ropes. I am
hoping to include: reviews of books I’ve
read, travel stories from various mission trips, photography, stories about my
crazy pups (my kids), reminiscing about growing up in the Ozarks, my crazy
dreams (night time dreams, not hopes type dreams), tips and tricks for
organizing, saving money, and decluttering, and lessons I learn while
attempting to be an author. And I’m sure
other subjects will rear their heads at random points in time, so that is not a
summation but a sampling. I have not
been diagnosed with ADHD, but looking at my interests, I’m beginning to wonder.
A little about me. I
grew up in the Ozarks on a farm. I was raised as a Christian and believe in the
truth of the Bible. I am happily married
to my husband, Dave, and we have two crazy dogs, China and Buster. We live in St. Charles, Missouri, but hope to
someday move to somewhere a little more rural.
My current vocation is librarian, but I hope to someday also be an
author. I have dreamed about it since I
was a young girl, writing my first “book” in fourth grade.
Someone in the writing world recently said to be a writer,
you should have either a blog or a web site or both. Being the ever frugal one, I’m going with
blog at this time. With any luck, I will
be able to expand and progress to websites and other formats as I continue to
learn the ropes. Thanks for joining me
on this journey. Welcome one and
all. Stay tuned.
